Detailed Narrative Description of Project
& Actual Services Provided by your Company:
The Baseline Surveys were designed to assess the existing water, sanitation, health, immunization, education and hygiene situation, and make practical recommendations for initiating a community development programme. The instruments were developed and pretested by the project consultant, the data collection team trained by the consultant, the data collected by
SRPO, and then computed, analyzed and reported by the Raasta team. The Surveys identified water supply and sanitation as the key areas of proposed intervention and on the basis of the recommendations, UNICEF and the Katchi Abadi Authority have already instituted a water supply and sanitation project in the Katchi Abadies of Sukkur and Larkana. It is being implemented with the assistance of the Orangi Pilot Project (OPP).
