Detailed Narrative Description of Project:
The aim of this study is to produce an independent and detailed picture of child labour in the carpet-industry in District Tharparkar. The situation analysis will supplement other efforts in the country to protect the rights of working children in Pakistan. TRDP will use the information and analysis generated to build a programme for working children in response to their exploitation and the erosion of their rights. The study will also inform Save the Children, UK (SCF) and other partners about how to pursue their role in advocating and developing policies and programmes addressing child labour.
Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by your Company:
Raasta's responsibilities included instrument development, pretesting, and field survey, including selection and interviewing of field staff, survey, data entry, analysis and report writing.
