Public Service Initiatives
Raasta has initiated and supported several public service non-profit initiatives, particularly those dealing with the empowerment of women, disadvantaged groups and human rights in Pakistan, as well as fund raising for emergencies. It contributes to efforts by the government and lobbying groups to prepare national reports and disseminate materials, and its members participate regularly in national and international fora. Raasta also hosts and supports several civil society organizations through free of charge services, donations and other assistance.

Facilities and Resources
Raasta has 25 full time staff members, more than 30 active associates, a resource person roster of 100 people and a wide network of field workers throughout Pakistan and abroad. It is from these professionals that teams are drawn for individual assignments and long-term interventions.

Raasta's library is extensive with studies, training modules and literature pertinent to all its areas of expertise and involvement. Raasta offers translation facilities and its offices are equipped with state of the art computer systems with a variety of software including Urdu programmes, GIS system and colour printing. Through its associations it also offers commercial printing facilities
